According the Genesis 6 and other places in the Bible, according to countless accounts of other ancient people, in ancient times fallen angels came down to earth and made offspring with humans. They're known as the Nephilim or Annunaki, and their mere existence caused the Creator to send the Great Flood. This hybrid offspring has been present on the earth ever since.
